Press Release Issued by Bury St Edmunds & District Motorcycle Action Group:
BIKERS BRAVE BAD WEATHER FOR SCOPE
A group of 40 or so motorcyclists riding 27 bikes and 1 trike braved the elements on a wet and windy Sunday the 16th of March to deliver Easter eggs to the local Scope centre in Shakers Lane Bury St. Edmunds. The ride out left the Lacey Scott yard behind Bowers Motorcycles and arrived at Scope half an hour later. They were treated to warming drinks and a buffet laid on by the staff of Scope . Around 60 Easter eggs were donated and the local Motorcycle Action Group rep, Herb, passed round an Easter basket which netted £130. The eggs are distributed to those attending the scope centre and the local family support unit.

That does not mean that we can cruise the weekend but it makes it far more fun for all and much less stressful.

For once it wasn’t a dark and stormy night or morning. It dawned bright and clear so it was with good heart that I headed off for the BSE MAG pet food run. This years run was going out into the wilds of Norfolk so I packed my passport. By the time I had reached the departure point being British Sugar sports and social club in Bury St. Edmunds there were already a good few bikes there. So we all wondered about for a bit to catch up with friends and greet new folk .Our glorious leader Herb welcomed everyone and explained the route.
